Body/Breath Awareness

In the ancient Buddhist text, the Anapanasati Sutra, Buddha taught that awareness of breath was the beginning and the end of the road to enlightenment.

 

In today’s breath series we practice body breath awareness.  A very simple and accessible start to a conscious breathing practice.  This is where I start all of my breath and meditation clients.  

 

There are tons of really complex breathing practices out there, and I love those too, but we really don’t need to be complicated in our practices.  Simple and effective is what I love! 

 

It’s important to remember that the mind follows the breath.  The key to mastering the mind is in mastering and uniting with the breath.
